Find out how to qualify for this program.

Terms and conditions

The program

  • Manages federal programs leading directly to permanent residence for people planning to live outside Quebec.
  • Candidates are ranked against each other and invited in periodic rounds — meeting the criteria gets you into the pool, it doesn’t guarantee an invitation.
  • It favors candidates with strong language scores, Canadian work experience, and in-demand occupations.

Whether you're abroad or already in Canada

  • You wish to become a permanent resident of Canada based on your skills, education, and work experience.
  • You have qualifying language test results in English or French.
  • You have at least one year of skilled work experience, in Canada or abroad.
  • You have an advantage if:
    • you already have Canadian work experience or a Canadian diploma.
    • you receive a provincial nomination, which adds significant points.

Program process

Express Entry

  • A. Meeting the legal team after signing the agreement. The official process starts with meeting our legal team analyzes your file in depth and carries out a complete evaluation to confirm which program you qualify under, and to get an honest read on your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
  • B. Preparing your profile and entering the pool. Our legal team prepares and completes your Express Entry profile using the documents and information you provide, then submits it. We also look for ways to strengthen your score, such as a stronger language result or a provincial nomination. Payment for this stage is only applicable once your profile is confirmed open on the Express Entry platform.
  • C. Analysis and decision. Canada holds regular draws inviting the top-ranked candidates in the pool. This step depends on your score and the type of draw, and can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months.
  • D. Issuance of the Invitation to Apply. Once invited, you have 60 days to submit a complete application. Your immigration lawyer will accompany you and ensure all required documents are provided within the deadline.
  • E. Submission of application for Canadian permanent residence to IRCC. Our legal team files your complete application with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and continues to act as your legal representative through this final step.
  • F. Issuance of permanent residence. You and your family members become Canadian permanent residents. This status is renewable every five years if you remain in Canada for at least 730 days during that period. You can also apply for citizenship if you stay for at least three of those five years.
